Well, that's the problem, understanding the nuances! I do find it difficult, because sometimes in French several words are used where there is only one in English, and vice versa. It can make comparisons, and precision difficult...

Well, England now is horrible: too expensive, a "nanny" state, English mentality is bad. Here, there are nice people, and, of course, the weather is much better. There's not much I miss about England.
My French isn't that good. Whilst the language can be nice, I am not sure it is as descriptive or precise as English, because I think there are more words in English. |
Maybe you're right but French is more difficult mouahahahaha! :p:

I wish I could visit England one day... I've been in the US, but it's not a place that really fits me... =/ I wanna visit a lot more!
So, you said that England was pretty expensive. It reminds me of a friend who lived in England for almost a year. Each time she went to the baker's, she had to spend more than 30€ :ho!:
So hum.. How much does a diamond cost out there? :

A friend I know spent 2 weeks in England and he said he couldn't afford lunch, which was really bad for a French guy!

Perso jsuis une fan de la France mais bon je parle francais :
Et puis les anglais ici aiment bcp apprendre le français, manger de la cuisine française, toute la culture française.. C'est que ça fait snob :
..Enfin pas juste pr les anglais .. au Québec aussi c'est un peu comme ça.
Alors je me demande en France pour se sentir bourgeois et cultivé il faut apprendre l'anglais alors? :confu: lool. |

Haha, I'm not looking for any type of diamond, simply because I don't like diamonds. I don't believe that tey are girls' bestfriends. :
2 weeks? :ho!: I'm sure I couldn't stay two weeks without lunch... Oh well, I'll go there when I'll need to go on a diet! :

Non, en France ils ont tous une grande gueule et ils chient sur l'anglais : !
Plus sérieusement, c'est intéressant ce que tu dis, y a une québéquoise qui me disait exactement la même chose. Au Québec, ca fait très intellectuel de parler le français...

| J'ai un niveau d'anglais respectable et je vis dans un champ au milieu de nulle part .... Si je me sens cultivée, ce n'est certainement pas parce que je baragouine 4 mots d'anglais...

| Ouais la plupart des signatures des français sur deviantart c'est "excuse my english, i'm french".
Franchement vaut mieux faire semblant que se dévaloriser direct. Ou tt faire en français, ils aiment bien les Français en général. |
